Join me for a cozy, creative, hands-on glass workshop hosted at local partner venues! Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends, a unique date activity, or a chance to craft handmade seasonal gifts, my Glass & Grounds sessions are designed to be fun, accessible, and stress-free for all skill levels.

How It Works (The 1.5-Hour Experience)

Step 1: Customize Your Kit (at checkout): When you book your ticket, you will pre-select the two base shapes and base colors you want to work with. Choose from 9 shapes (cat, circle, pumpkin, bat, owl, ghost, haunted house, leaf, or crescent moon) and 4 glass colors (opaque black, opaque white, transparent purple, or clear). I will custom-cut your bases in my studio and have them waiting for you at your seat!
Step 2: Design Your Mosaic: Using my curated selection of colorful scrap glass, crushed glass frit, glass stringers, paint and other details, you’ll lay out your custom mosaic design on top of your bases. Cut-resistant gloves and non-toxic elmers glue are provided. No glass cutting or grinding is required!
Step 3: Food & Beverage: Sip and snack while you craft! Every ticket includes a complimentary food and drink offering provided by our host venue (ranging from artisan coffee and pastries to a full appetizer and non-alcoholic drink, depending on the location).
Step 4: Kiln Firing & Delivery Options: Once your designs are complete, I pack up your creations and bring them back to my studio for a full kiln fuse. You can choose from two fulfillment options:

In-Person Pickup (Free): Pick up your fired pieces back at my home studio in Burnaby 7 to 14 days later, complete with hanging hardware.

Direct Home Shipping (+$15): Have your finished pieces safely packaged and shipped directly to your home address!

What's Included in Your Ticket

All materials and tools to create 2 custom fused glass pieces (3"–4" each).
Cut-resistant safety gloves and safety oversight.
Full studio kiln firing and post-processing service.
Food and beverage package provided by the host venue.

Important Event Information

Age Limit: Recommended for ages 8+ (minors must be accompanied by a ticketed adult).
Capacity: Classes are strictly limited to 12 participants per session so I can give everyone hands-on support in a relaxed atmosphere.
Refunds & Cancellation: Tickets are non-refundable within 7 days of the event, but they are fully transferrable to another person if you are unable to attend.
